MENG has local chapters in 15 major cities in the continental United States. The purpose of MENG Chapters is to provide an opportunity for members to
- Network with peers
- Exchange local company information
- Provide industry news
- Swap search ideas
- Trade local resources
- Develop more personal relationships and bond in small groups
All National membership criteria, screening process, operating rules, procedures and obligations are applicable to the local Chapter attendees. Chapters hold regularly scheduled meetings at the choosing of their participating members. All MENG members, employed or in transition, may participate in any and all of the chapter activities.
Members are encouraged to attend meetings to meet fellow members, share information, request assistance and enhance their skills and those of their colleagues. When members actively participate, more information is shared, member’s competency is increased and their marketability is improved.
Members further are encouraged to volunteer to recruit speakers, lead meetings, take minutes, lead professional development sessions or initiate partnerships with other local organizations. As MENG is a volunteer-run organization, meetings and programs are made possible by the volunteer efforts of our members, without whom these events are not possible.
