Last updated: 12 September 2026

MengOnline respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains which personal data we process when you visit mengonline.com or contact us, why we use it, and what rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

1. Who is responsible?

MengOnline is responsible for the processing of personal data through this website. For privacy questions or requests, contact us at info@mengonline.com.

2. Personal data we collect

  • Contact details: your name, email address, subject and message when you use the contact form or email us.
  • Technical data: IP address, browser and device information, visited pages, timestamps and security logs that may be generated when you use the website.
  • Cookie and usage data: cookie preferences and, where you consent, analytics data about use of the website.

Comments are disabled on MengOnline, so we do not collect personal data through article comments.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We use personal data to answer enquiries and take steps at your request, to operate and secure the website, prevent spam and misuse, comply with legal obligations, and—with your consent where required—measure and improve website use. These activities are based on your request or an agreement, our legitimate interests, a legal obligation, or your consent. We do not sell personal data.

4. Contact form and spam protection

Messages submitted through the contact form are sent to info@mengonline.com. We use Google reCAPTCHA to help prevent spam and abuse. In doing so, Google may process technical data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.

5. Cookies and analytics

Necessary cookies may be used to make the website function and remain secure. Optional analytics or preference cookies are used only when permitted by your cookie choice. You can change or withdraw your choice through the cookie banner or your browser settings.

6. Sharing and international transfers

We share personal data only when necessary with service providers that support hosting, security, spam protection and analytics, or when required by law. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we use appropriate safeguards where required. We do not disclose personal data for unrelated commercial purposes.

7. Retention

We keep personal data no longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Contact enquiries are generally retained for no more than 12 months after the enquiry has been handled, unless longer retention is required for follow-up or by law. Technical logs and cookie data are retained according to our security and cookie settings and applicable legal requirements.

8. Your rights

You may request access to, correction or deletion of your personal data. You may also request restriction or data portability, object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time. Email your request to info@mengonline.com. We may ask for limited additional information to verify your identity and will respond within the statutory period.

9. Security

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure and alteration.

10. Complaints

If you believe that we have not handled your personal data properly, please contact us first. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority via its complaint page.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy when our website or legal obligations change. The latest version is always published on this page.
