What is thought leadership?
Another nice concept. But what does it mean? There are a number of entrances. This is how it is seen as content marketing. As a company, you are continuously busy answering questions about the product, service or company. You provide a complete and substantiated answer. But ultimately it is no more than focusing on the customer and his/her questions, which you then answer correctly and, if necessary, in detail as quickly as possible.
You don't necessarily have to be the best or the most expert for this. The customer just wants a good answer to questions and the feeling that the customer is taken seriously. This applies to purchases of a product or service, but also to customer complaints. Always put the customer at ease. So be responsive and understanding to customers' needs.
What are the principles for good implementation of thought leadership? What requirements must such a system meet if it is to be successful? The following comments apply to this.
Provide an intriguing story
Write content that attracts attention in the first sentence. Show the added value of your product. What drives your company. Don't overly promote your company, otherwise people will quickly drop out. Also indicate what distinguishes your product from other products and do not be too general. Make it clear.
Illustrate this with images and infographics. Not to spice up the story, but to support the story.
Presentation
Try to do any kind of presentation together with a satisfied customer. Preferably in the physical sphere, so that interaction with the audience is possible. A satisfied customer, who may be questioned sharply, gives more confidence than a sales pitch from the company.
Content marketing strategy
You build up data by frequently using blogs, videos, columns, social media, websites and other content platforms. This is how you reach customers and prospects. You can analyze all that data and therefore have a better idea of what is happening in the market.
Influencers
Not only customers are the target group, influencers, journalists, critics, bloggers, etc. are also players in the market about your product. So it is advisable to follow them and as soon as they throw up a tweet, respond immediately with a retweet.
Product experience
It is not about what we as a company think of the product, but what the customer thinks of it. Everything must be focused on the customer's experience with the product. Only this view drives sales.
Jargon
To understand jargon you have to be an insider and customers usually aren't. So always avoid using jargon. When you write something, do it with the customer's intention.
News
Check relevant third-party websites daily to gather current information. Create content from that and pitch it to trade publications, for example. To stay in the picture, it is important to always respond.
Left
Also remember to add links in the contents. It gives a broader view of the content, gives you more information and keeps your content readable.
